In an effort to foster authentic conversations on key diversity issues, the Division of Institutional Equity & Diversity is hosting the Dallas Dinner Table program on Monday, January 20, 2020. Dallas Dinner Table organizes various small dinners (10 participants or less) across Dallas/Fort Worth/Denton area on MLKJ National Holiday where participants share their experiences and perspectives on race relations in a structured and facilitated discussion together over a meal within a casual setting. The dinners are designed to:

  • Encourage communication about race relations and the impact of ethnicity on relationships.
  • Educate participants about perspectives held by others related to race relations.
  • Empower residents to develop relationships with people from a variety of racial/ethnic groups.

Seats are limited; if you are interested in being assigned to one of the Division’s two tables (use zip code 76203) or another table assignment near your residence, please register through Dallas Dinner Table’s website here.
