Nahuatl, known historically as Aztec, is a language or group of languages of the Uto-Aztecan language family.  Varieties of Nahuatl are spoken by about 1.7 million Nahuatl peoples, most of whom live in central Mexico.

Join us for this engaging workshop aimed at enhancing your knowledge and engagement with the Native American Community. Anthony Zamora, UNT Linguistics student of Tlaxcaltec descent, will introduce basic Nahuatl to participants.
